Heritage Villa Restoration

This sensitive renovation project restored a charming period property whilst discreetly integrating modern amenities. The 4-bedroom villa retained its distinctive architectural features including high ceilings with decorative cornicing, large sash windows, and covered verandas.

Works included: complete rewiring with hidden cable routes, replumbing with modern fixtures, new kitchen and bathrooms designed in keeping with the period style, structural repairs to the timber roof, replacement of original windows (exact replicas manufactured), and repainting with heritage colours.

Modern additions were carefully integrated: ducted air conditioning with concealed grilles, home network infrastructure, updated security system, and energy-efficient lighting. External works restored the gardens with new irrigation and lighting.

The project required specialist craftsmen for heritage restoration work and careful project planning to minimise disruption to the occupied property.
